Chinese Companies Build Large Leather And Leather Products Factories In Egypt
According to the Ethiopian Capital newspaper, in August 12th, the Chinese company, named China Africa overseas leather products company, signed an agreement with the investment office of the state of Africa to invest 312 million Bill (US $32 million) to establish a leather and products factory.
The company covers an area of 50 thousand square meters, including leather goods workshop, leather gloves factory, leather shoes factory and leather garment factory.
Among them, the leather products workshop will be formally put into operation in November next year.
It is reported that 80% of the company's products are expected to be sold to Europe, Japan, China and South Korea, and will provide 1300 jobs for the local market.
The state of Australia has 50% of animal husbandry resources in Ethiopia. AlemuSime, director of its investment bureau, said that investors who are committed to the development of leather industry will give special support.
