In the first half of the year, the economic operation of the textile industry was adversely affected by many external factors, and the difficulties of small and micro enterprises were prominent. In the second half of the year, due to the outstanding downside risks in emerging markets, the growth rate of foreign demand in the second half of the year is generally slowing down. It is expected that the export growth of the textile industry will gradually slow down, and the downward speed of export growth in the later period may accelerate. The domestic market will maintain stable growth, and the growth rate may be slightly higher than that in the first half of the year. It is expected that the improvement space is limited, and the profit space is difficult to expand significantly. Despite the adverse weather, China's total cotton output this year has declined compared with previous years, but from the current high inventory situation, cotton prices should not rise sharply.
