After the expiration of this year, the EU again conducted a "sunset review" in an attempt to extend the anti-dumping time limit. It is reported that during this period, it will take about 16.5 years for China to make an anti-dumping decision on leather shoes, and it is estimated that the final anti-dumping duty will still be imposed by China for 16.5 years. it is reported that the European Commission's sampling survey began on 24 June last month. Several enterprises, including Aokang, have been investigated. The selected enterprises enter the written defense procedure, which takes 37 days. After the EU announced that it would launch a sunset review, the Ministry of Commerce held a response coordination meeting in Zhejiang, Guangdong and Fujian, calling on shoe enterprises to go all out to respond to the lawsuit. According to the information from the Ministry of Commerce, up to now, 60 enterprises have actively responded to the lawsuit, which is the largest number of enterprises responding to the EU anti-dumping review investigation. Therefore, the European Commission has to take the sampling method to investigate. Not only that, China Leather Association, China Light Industry Chamber of Commerce, as well as shoe industry organizations in Fujian, Zhejiang and Guangdong, including Wenzhou shoe leather association and Guangdong shoe Union, have formed a united front, echoing with the nine major foreign industries and consumer Importers' organizations inside and outside, and sparing no effort to attack the "sunset" review of the EU.
