Recently, a new type of shoe material - anti skid and anti skid rubber material was introduced in Guangzhou. This not only fills the gap in the technology of high grade shoe materials, but also breaks the long-term monopoly of foreign products.

It is understood that the sole material of our country has been industrialized in the early twentieth Century. However, because of the backward production technology and the limitation of technological conditions, the sole source of sole material is single leather or natural rubber.

In 2011, the Guangzhou City Union Limited shoe materials Co., Ltd., jointly with South China University of Technology, declared to Guangdong science and technology department the "research and industrialization of anti skid resistance and anti skid rubber materials" of the provincial Ministry of industry, University and research. At present, the project has declared 2 national invention patents, 1 authorized by utility models, and 3 academic papers.

Through the blending of non-polar rubber and polar rubber or modified rubber, the wet skid resistance and ice skid resistance of sole rubber were improved. The rubber / inorganic nanocomposites were prepared by filling surface treatment and interface modification technology with independent intellectual property rights. Inorganic nano filler or nanofibers which can effectively improve the wet skid resistance and the ability to grip the ice road surface were selected, and the skid resistance was further improved by modifying the fillers.
