The Ministry Of Commerce Welcomes Spinning Into The Chinese Market.
On the 21 day, the head of the foreign trade division of the Ministry of Commerce revealed that the overall growth rate of China's textile exports in 2009 will continue to slow down.
According to customs statistics, the total export of textile and clothing in China was 185 billion 170 million US dollars in 2008, up 8.2% from the same year, and the increase was 10.7 percentage points lower than that in 2007.
The official said that the textile industry may face more trade frictions this year, so the Ministry of Commerce has set up an early warning platform for textile exports, and regularly released sensitive textile export data on official websites.
At the same time, the responsible person also revealed that the textile industry group of the relevant countries is welcome to participate in the import fair of China Canton Fair.
Data show that in 2007 and 2008 1~11, China's imports of clothing were 1 billion 970 million US dollars and 2 billion 90 million US dollars, up 14.7% and 16.6% respectively over the same period last year.
