The National Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision issued a notice recently that the certification body must not issue the 2000 edition of the standard certificate since November 15, 2009. Since November 15, 2010, any 2000 edition of standard certificate is invalid. The notice also requires that certification bodies, when issuing the 2008 edition of certification, should ensure that auditors participate in the related transformation training provided by the quality management system auditor training institution approved by the National Commission for accreditation, and obtain the certificate of training before engaging in the 2008 edition certification audit. The state Regulatory Commission (CCCA) requires that the certification bodies should conscientiously pay attention to the effectiveness and quality of the quality management system in the process of certification implementation, with the ultimate product quality and customer satisfaction as the focus, and confirm that the certified organizations have already met the standard requirements of the 2008 edition and issued the 2008 edition of standard certificates.
