Statistics from the Ministry of industry and commerce's Processing Export Commission (CNIME) showed that in October (2014), in October, the total value of exports of Paraguay businessmen using the processing export investment incentives amounted to US $202 million, an increase of US $42 million 600 thousand over the previous year (US $159 million 400 thousand), a sharp increase of about 27%.

In October this year, the export market of Paraguay's main processing products was still a common city in the south, such as Brazil and Argentina, accounting for 76% of the total value of processing exports in the same month. The remaining 24% were sold to countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, the United States, Chile, France and Vietnam, especially automobile parts.

The main processing export products are auto parts (20.7%), textile garments (20.2%), leather and leather products (19%), plastic products (11.5%) and other products.

The report also pointed out that Paraguay's export processing industry (Maquila) flourished in recent years, and the main export markets were members of the southern common market. Paraguay's processing export industry was 95% for outsiders, most of which came from Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
