A fire broke out at Meijia textile mill in Nanhu District.

The fire started on the first floor painting shop, igniting the fabric stored in the workshop, and the fire spread rapidly.

Smoke can be seen from a kilometer away, and the flames are spreading from the first floor to the two floor factory building.

After nearly 3 hours of fighting by the fire officers and soldiers, the fire on the first floor workshop was extinguished around 18:30.

Because the textile materials in the workshop are still smoldering, the fire officers and soldiers went deep into the workshop to clean up the fire points before collecting the team.

From the paint shop on the first floor, the fire did not start at all. The employees used the fire extinguisher to fight the fire. At the same time, they informed the upstairs staff to evacuate and called the police.

One employee said that six or seven people were slow, and the staircase was full of smoke.
