Zhu Hongren, chief engineer of the Ministry of industry and information technology, said at the 11 annual China Textile Innovation annual meeting that as a traditional manufacturing industry, the textile industry needs to focus on innovation driven from four aspects. The central economic work conference put forward that "innovation should be practical, comprehensive innovation promoted, and more industrial innovation should be taken to nurture and form new growth points. Innovation must be implemented to create new growth points, and turn innovation results into tangible industrial activities."

Zhu Hongren believes that the textile industry should focus on four aspects of the industry's innovation driven:

First, we should seize the main direction of innovation, strengthen investment and strive to shorten the gap with developed countries.

The lack of innovative talents restricts the innovative ability of the textile industry, and the lack of leading talents in some key areas and the lack of skilled talents also need to be intensified from the aspects of education and market. Schools, enterprises and public platforms should exert their efforts to cultivate multi-level innovative talents for the industry.

Three, we should improve the mechanism, pform from creating innovation to collaborative innovation, integrate the elements of innovation, promote the synergy of production, teaching and research, concentrate efforts on major events, and create breakthroughs in key areas, and at the same time, do well in knowledge.

Zhu Hongren also revealed that the Ministry of industry and information technology is working hard to compile the "China made 2025 plan", and strive to promote the deep integration of the two technologies.

The China Textile Innovation annual meeting, sponsored by the China Federation of textile industry, is held in Beijing in December. It summarizes the innovative achievements of the textile industry throughout the year and explores the future innovation and development mode, so far it has successfully held the 15 session.

At the meeting, the list of the winners of the 2014 China Textile Industry Association's product development award award was announced. 60 home textile enterprises won the prize for their innovative exploration and achievements in their respective fields. Guangdong Foshan Nanhai Technology Innovation Center Co., Ltd. also won the product development promotion award.
