The conference introduced that the development of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry to promote employment targets is divided into two stages: the first stage, from 2014 to 2018, the total output value of textile and garment industry reached 86 billion yuan, and the total industrial chain employment capacity was 420 thousand; in the second stage, from 2019 to 2023, the total production value reached 212 billion 500 million yuan, and the employment capacity was 1 million.
