The China Textile Industry Federation announced the winners of the "textile light" 2014 annual technology award. Sheng Hong Group's chemical fiber and printing and dyeing board won the one or two prize by "new polyester polymerization and series composite functional fiber preparation key technology" project and "high density chemical fiber fabric cold pad batch pretreatment technology and industrialization" project, which shows Sheng Hong's strong strength in the field of textile science and technology innovation.

The "textile light" science and technology award is the highest award in China's textile industry. It mainly rewards units or individuals who have made outstanding contributions in promoting the technological progress of the textile industry, improving the technological level, innovation and competitiveness of the industry, and has been praised as the "Nobel prize" in the Chinese textile industry.

This time, Sheng Hong group led the "key technology of new polyester polymerization and series of composite functional fibers" project, and built the first 250 thousand ton / year melt direct spinning full dull polyester fiber production line, which is the first international initiative. China's first 30 thousand ton / year PTT polymerization device with independent intellectual property rights has been put into operation, breaking the monopoly of foreign PTT polymerization technology.

At the same time, we have built 20 thousand tons / year thermal wet comfort polyester synthesis and fiber melt direct spinning production line, 20 thousand tons / year elastic comfort series polyester fiber production line.

"The technology has totally independent intellectual property rights, and has obtained 1 US patents, 10 invention patents, 4 utility models, 32 research papers, and drafted and participated in the formulation of the country.

Mei Feng, chief engineer of Sheng Hong, said that as of now, the project has developed three series of nearly 100 specifications of thermal comfort, protection and elastic polyester fiber products, which will play a leading role in the differentiation, functional development and industrial pformation and upgrading of polyester fibers in China.

The key technology and industrialization of cold pad batch pretreatment technology can effectively reduce the consumption of chemicals and water, electricity, steam and other resources, reduce COD emissions, and achieve energy saving and emission reduction in the pretreatment process of high-density polyester, nylon and other chemical fiber fabrics, and reduce environmental pollution.

"This award is the biggest affirmation and encouragement of Sheng Hong's consistent emphasis on technological innovation and low carbon development."
