If a natural person, a legal person or any other organization has the right to exclusive use of a trademark for its goods or services in its production and operation activities, it shall apply to the Trademark Office for trademark registration.

In the narrow sense, the application for trademark registration only refers to the application for trademark registration of goods and services, the application for international registration of trademarks, the application for certification trademark registration, the application for collective trademark registration, and the application for registration of special marks.

A broad application for trademark registration includes not only the contents of the application for trademark registration in a narrow sense, but also changes, renewal, pfer of registration application, objection application, cancellation application, trademark license record, and other trademark registration matters.

There are two ways for domestic trademark registration applicants to apply for trademark registration: one is to handle by oneself, that is, the applicant directly applies for trademark registration; the two is to entrust a trademark agency established according to law.

The main difference between the two approaches is the way of contact, the submission of submissions and the way of submission of documents.

In connection with the way of connection, the applicant directly goes to the Trademark Office directly in connection with the trademark office. If the trademark agency is entrusted to handle the matter, the applicant will be contacted by the trademark agency and the Trademark Office in the process of handling, but not directly with the trademark office.

In respect of the submitted documents, the applicant shall directly submit to the trademark office a copy of the identity card of his own person other than the other books to be submitted, and the entrustment of the trademark agency, the applicant shall submit the power of attorney for the trademark registration agency entrusted by the trademark agency.

In the way of submitting documents, the applicant himself shall submit the application documents directly to the reception hall of the registration hall of the trademark by the applicant or the agent. The agency can submit the application documents directly to the Trademark Office, submit it to the Trademark Office through a courier company, or submit an application for trademark registration through the online application system.

If a foreigner or a foreign enterprise applies for trademark registration and other trademark matters in China, it shall entrust a trademark agency established according to law.

However, foreigners or foreign enterprises with regular habitation or business offices in China may handle them on their own.

Entrusting trademark agency to handle trademark

Registration shall be made in accordance with the classified list of goods and services published.

Each trademark registration application shall submit 1 copies of the trademark registration application and 1 trademark designs to the trademark office. If the application for trademark registration is made in combination or coloured drawings, the coloring pattern shall be submitted, and 1 black and white manuscripts shall be submitted.

The applicant for trademark registration may apply for registration of the same trademark on multiple categories of commodities through an application.

Each trademark is considered a piece of registration for every application.

The application for the corresponding matters shall be submitted, and the fees shall be paid according to the regulations.

Two. If the number of books to be submitted is not specified, if there is no special declaration in the column of "filling in instructions", it should be considered that the 1 part of the 1 form.
