It's a holiday for women all over the world.

This day is recognized by the United Nations, and is also recognized as a statutory holiday in many countries.

Women from all corners of the country, though distinguished by different national boundaries, races, languages, cultures, economies and politics, can celebrate their own festivals on this day.

Let us recall the struggle we fought for equality, justice, peace and development ninety years ago.

In March 8, 1909, women workers in Chicago, Illinois, and workers in the national textile and garment industry held a large scale, demanding higher wages, a 8 hour working system and the right to vote.

This is labor in history.

The first organized mass struggle fully demonstrated the strength of working women.

The struggle has won widespread sympathy and enthusiastic response from the whole nation and even the rest of the world, and finally won the victory.

In August 1910, the international socialist group was held in Copenhagen, Denmark.

At the meeting, representatives from 17 countries attended the meeting. The main issues discussed at the conference were to oppose imperialism, expand armaments and prepare for war and safeguard world peace. At the same time, the right to protect women and children was also discussed, and the 8 hour working system and the right to vote were also discussed.

Clara Zetkin's initiative, which is held in March 8th every year as the world's struggle day for women, is unanimously supported by the delegates.
