Shi Bi I would like to invite him to comment on the contents of the proposal, the status quo of China's leather manufacturing industry and the prospects for the development of the industry.

Remember: Shi Bi member, as a technology expert in leather industry, what will your proposal for this year's conference involve in leather manufacturing?

Shi Bi: the proposal of this year's leather part is to suggest that the state reduce the import duty of raw materials to a reasonable level. China's tariff on raw materials imports is too high, which is not conducive to the producers and consumers of the market. Domestic producers purchase too much raw materials, and the products they produce do not have the advantage of brand. They can not sell a suitable price and have very little profit, which will affect the enthusiasm of producers in this industry.

Reporter: is the leather technology of our country different from other countries? Why is the price of international big brands very expensive, is the manufacturing level of foreign countries higher than that of domestic?

Shi Bi: why is this? Because people have a good brand benefit. Sports brand Puma sold leather jackets at that time for four thousand or five thousand yuan, which was very expensive, and our income was $six hundred or seven hundred. Many people like outdoor outdoors now, and their outdoor shoes are all two thousand or three thousand or four thousand or five thousand. Actually, the cost is not high at all, that is, the brand benefits are high.

Big brands have the value of big brands, such as material selection, process requirements, machinery and equipment, staffing and so on. In contrast, the technology and technology of our domestic industry are no worse than those of foreign countries, but we sell two thousand of the same products and five thousand of foreign products. We still need to innovate to create China's leather and fur brands, which is the direction of our industry development.

Reporter: as Leatherwear Experts and scholars in the field of industry research, what kind of judgement do you have about the development prospect of leather industry?

Shi Bi: every one of us can not do without leather products. Everyone needs leather, leather shoes and fur coats, which are closely related to life. We encourage the development of leather and fur industry. This industry is a by-product recycling industry, such as pig skin, cowhide and sheepskin. So the industry has slowly rising space, but in the production process, we should develop to three aspects * high, fine and sharp.

At present, there are many exchanges between different places in the development of the industry, and the exchange of teaching and scientific research is also good, but there may be relatively few international exchanges. I suggest that there are many influential leather and fur brands abroad. We must invite in and go out. Last year, the China Leather Association launched an international fashion week in Beijing. Leather fashion day It is very good that we should strengthen international exchanges more.
