Q: can you share with us the inspiration for this series?

Chen Caixia: the last series I do is sea, this series is mountain.

"The Classic of the Great Wilderness" is my inspiration, and the color of the whole series is also inspired by The Classic of the Great Wilderness.

Just like autumn, the maple leaves change from red to litter, and then to the last snowfall, showing a change from autumn to winter.

Because there are mountains, houses and lots of animals in the story of The Classic of the Great Wilderness.

So I put the whole story into the series of this season.

You can see that the white dress is embroidered with red embroidery, just to express a scene of flowers blooming after the snow.

Q: as an oriental designer, your design has been very successful in the western stage. How does the different cultural background affect your design?

Chen Caixia: actually, I don't think the brand has been very successful. I still need more efforts.

I think in the competitive fashion fashion industry in Paris, every season's series should be done with great care and do the best we can.

Paris is a very tolerant city. I have always advocated the idea of "Chinese style", Exploring Oriental elements that Westerners love and making Oriental elements very well. It is my homework and our persistent spirit and characteristics.

Q: SHIATZY CHEN has always been very good at grasping the balance between the East and the West. Why is there such a design persistence?

Chen Caixia: I think the brand must have its own characteristics, which is very important to me.

Let Westerners feel the broad and profound Chinese culture and let them feel the long history of China's 5000 years, thus increasing their understanding of us.

When I was making a ready-made garment series, I liked to use stories to convey my design concept.

Q: in the recent Spring Festival Gala, we saw Li Yuchun, Karen Mok and other stars wearing SHIATZY CHEN's tailored dress. What is the difference between tailored dress for the stars and the ready-made garments series?

Chen Caixia: there are many different points. First of all, you have to understand the personal characteristics of the stars before you can show the best side of the stars through clothing. This is the difference between ordering and ready-made clothes.

For me, I enjoy the process of customizing and designing the clothing series for stars. I like them all. I also hope that through the stars, we will praise our extensive and profound Chinese culture, and let more and more people understand our persistence and characteristics.
