Mexico Drastically Revised Textile Label Standards

Direcci n General de Normas (DGN), the standard management body, has issued amendments to the country's textile labeling standards, making some modifications from name and symbol.
The standard NMX-A-240-INNTEX-2009 includes graphics / symbols used for washing labels, and public consultation is available before August 29th (2015).
Mexico intends to cancel the old standard and replace it with the updated NMX-A-3758-INNTEX-2014.
However, the circular did not indicate the difference between the two criteria.
The amendment is the latest series of changes in Mexico's textiles and clothing label rules, and two other amendments will be formally implemented in September 7th.
