This is the first national supervision and spot check on clothing products. It has examined 10 items, including formaldehyde content, pH value, dyestuffs, carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, water fastness, acid fastness, alkali fastness, color fastness to dry friction, color fastness to saliva, fiber content and pverse extension value.
Among them, the fiber content is only for scarves and necktie products, and the lateral extension value is only for socks products.
A total of 9 batches of products failed. The substandard items were mainly related to fiber content, pH value, color fastness to water, acid fastness to sweat, alkali fastness and pverse elongation.
The focus of this survey was on 69 batches of products in Zhejiang Province, with a 2.9% detection rate for substandard products.
