Inaugurated by the Industrial Technology Research Institute, Nantong textile and silk industry technology innovation strategic alliance and Nantong innovation and venture capital institution alliance were formally established.

Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Yao Mu, Jiang Shicheng, Yu Jianyong and other 10 industry insiders were recruited to be experts of the alliance Technical Committee.

Nantong textile and silk industry technology research institute is jointly constructed by Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute, Soochow University, Nantong science and Technology Bureau and Nantong hi tech Zone. It is located in the window of science and technology of Nantong high tech Zone, and the total area of R & D and experimental site is 6000 square meters.

The Institute will invest 20 million yuan in 3 years. At present, it has undertaken more than 30 provincial and ministerial level projects. It has more than 100 authorized invention patents, and has been closely linked with more than 30 Nantong enterprises such as Jiangsu Dasheng Group Co., Ltd., Xinyuan cocoon silk group Limited by Share Ltd and so on. It has carried out extensive cooperation in the joint establishment of Collaborative Innovation Center, engineering technology research center, postgraduate workstation, and joint tackling of various science and technology projects.

Nantong textile and silk industry technology innovation strategic alliance is jointly sponsored by Nantong textile and silk industry technology research institute and other units. It is an innovative organization that integrates textile, silk enterprises, scientific research units and service agencies to the Nantong region.

The Nantong innovation and Venture Capital Association has been established by more than 50 investment institutions from Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou and Nantong.

The alliance will build a bridge between investment and financing institutions, and build a multi-level, diversified and efficient investment and financing platform between investment institutions and innovation and entrepreneurship projects.

At the scene of the activity, 5 textile silk innovation and entrepreneurship projects, including the development and application of the electrospun nanofiber membrane, were shown in the roadshow, with a total investment of 104 million 100 thousand yuan.

Academician Yao Mu made a report on the current situation and prospects of the development of the textile and silk industry, and made suggestions on the pformation and upgrading of Nantong's textile and silk industry.
