The 2016 year LVMH youth Designer Award (LVMH Prize) shortlist is announced. 23 candidates from 11 countries and regions will compete for the award of 30 million euros. The winner can also be carefully guided by the senior mentor of the LVMH group in the coming year.

Liu Min graduated from the London Fashion Institute in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in women's wear.

Out of love for high-end fashion, she went to Amsterdam after graduation and worked in the design department of the famous designer brand Viktor & Rolf.

The following year, she accepted the invitation of top fashion brand Ports 1961, and served as assistant of brand designer.

Independent designer brand XU ZHI is also rooted in London.

Chen Xuzhi, founder and designer, graduated from central Saint Martin college in London and worked in famous designer studios such as Craig Green, J.W. Anderson, etc.

He hopes to create a brand full of implicit beauty and poetic charm, with exquisite workmanship, not following the trend, and redefining "luxury", and ultimately creating a close and unique world for women.

During the Paris fashion week in March, they will gather in Paris to accept the judgement of 40 fashion professionals and decide the ten lucky ones who will enter the finals.

In mid June, the top ten competitors will be assessed by LVMH experts.
