"Hebei enterprises enter Africa - Ethiopia trade and investment environment promotion conference" held in Hebei Hall of Shijiazhuang.

The promotion will be held jointly by the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce and the Embassy in Ethiopia.

The Municipal Commerce Bureau Co organized.

At the meeting,

Ambassador Seyoum Methven delivered a speech and introduced the current situation of economic and social development of Ethiopia; the commercial Commissioner Huang Zhuo of the Embassy of Ethiopia introduced the local trade and investment environment and preferential policies; Li Jianjun, chairman of Hebei Pingle group, shared with the participating companies the successful experience of launching trade and investment cooperation in Ethiopia.

Participating companies also exchanged with Ethiopia about related issues of investment and trade in Ethiopia.

More than 40 enterprises including iron and steel, construction, building materials, textile and clothing, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical, paper and paper products, food processing, electronic and electrical appliances, machinery manufacturing, leather and other industries participated in the promotion conference.

According to the Burma Investment Committee, 50% of the 138 foreign enterprises approved by the commission are in the textile and footwear industry.

Of the 138 foreign enterprises, 30% operate food, beverages, plastics, forestry products, decorations, etc. 20% operate hotels, construction, oil and natural gas.

In 2015 4-12, foreign companies invested a total of US $4 billion 900 million in Burma.

In February 2016, the most employed posts in Burma were salesmen, accountants, engineers, computer technicians, etc.
