Americans love to drink, but do you know what Americans do after drinking?

According to the National Retail Federation survey, Americans drink alcohol can produce a huge multiplier effect on shopping, and 78% of Americans say they drink spontaneously.

This is based on the findings of 3100 men and women surveyed by Finder.com, a personal financial website in the US.

Among them, women who want to buy clothes are still higher than men.

What's so attractive about shoes and clothes? Quartz's guess is that maybe after kicking up, you can kick off your shoes or invest in costumes to make them feel better about themselves.

"When people start drinking, they often mean that they lose self-control and good judgment, and spending on things can make them feel good."

Finder.com Fred Schebesta, chief executive of Quartz, told Quartz, "selling clothes to buy shoes is not just a need, but a desire. When drunk, people are always less able to resist temptation."

It's not hard to explain why Americans buy clothes and gamble, buy cigarettes, and 2% of them buy a pet suddenly.

Finder.com also gave a small way to curb the consumption of alcohol.

You can turn off your mobile phone network, do not bring credit cards or set up reminders before you go to the party, but these methods sound useless.
