The key technology achievement of promoting the key technologies of green manufacturing in Xinjiang textile industry was held in Yuli County, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region recently.

At the meeting, China Textile Industry Federation introduced 7 typical green manufacturing technologies, namely, key technologies and industrial applications of high efficiency cotton combing, and sustainable development of double flexible manufacturing.

Vice President Sun Ruizhe said, "the green manufacturing we advocate is a closed loop sustainable development mode covering the whole life cycle of products such as green design, green raw materials, green production and green consumption.

According to statistics, in the first half of 2016, the textile industry in the region invested 16 billion 455 million yuan, an increase of 1.3 times compared with the same period last year.

Among them, the textile industry invested 13 billion 129 million yuan, an increase of 1.6 times; the textile and garment industry and apparel industry invested 2 billion 595 million yuan, an increase of 1.6 times.
