The US $15 million B round of financing, including the $1 million 500 thousand grant from the NIH:National Institutes of Health, has been granted to Owlet by US $3 million since 2015.

Owlet, founded in 2013, is headquartered in Utah, USA. Its baby baby smart socks are worn to sleep. It can track heart rate, skin temperature, blood oxygen and sleep data, and then upload them to the cloud. Parents can use iOS and Android clients on smart phones, or through portal websites.

The socks are equipped with rechargeable batteries. When the electricity is low, they will alert their parents through smart phones.

The socks are also connected to an independent base station, that is, without the wireless network, the base station can act as the main warning center, so that parents do not have to rely on app to get notifications.
