The site of Vionnet's 2018 spring/summer senior ready to wear show is located in Milan's Santa Maria Monastery, where Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper is located. The collection is inspired by Japan. Except for a few tulle dresses that are based on cherry blossoms, all styles have no specific reference objects, Goga Ashkenazi's self description is based on the principles of Japanese Nine Poetics. From the asymmetrical appearance to the mix and match of fabrics, it has poetic flavor and samurai spirit.
