In order to understand the quality of moisture absorption and fast drying clothing products and the publicity of product functions, the Consumers Association of Beijing recently carried out a comparative test on 80 types of clothing.

The results showed that the samples sold in the physical store were of good quality, while the online shopping samples were of poor quality.

Among them, the physical store bought 30 samples, involving 30 nominal brands, ranging in price from 83.3 yuan to 580 yuan; online shopping platform purchased 50 samples, involving 40 nominal brands, ranging from 49 yuan to 869.33 yuan.

The comparison test was used to test the product use description, fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, drop water diffusion time, water absorption rate, core suction height, evaporation rate and moisture permeability.

After testing, the quality of hygroscopic and quick drying clothing sold by the store is good. Only two samples have quality problems: the measured value of the fiber content of the nominal DECATHLON brand Bermuda Shorts sold by Decathlon is not in conformity with the indication. The nominal Tianlun brand men's quick drying round neck short T shirt sold by the Gan Jia Kou building is not up to the standard requirement for moisture absorption and quick drying.

The quality of online shopping hygroscopic and quick drying clothing is poor. The main problems are product identification, fiber content measurement and indication, poor moisture absorption and poor dryness.

In addition, the price of hygroscopic and fast drying clothing ranges from tens to hundreds of dollars. There is no absolute correlation between the effect of moisture absorption or quick drying and price, and consumers should not blindly pursue brand and price.
