Philip Green, chairman of Arcadia Group Ltd., Philip Green of the British High Street retail group, was prosecuted in October after being suspected of sexual harassment and racial discrimination in the mainland.

Arizona Pilates coach Katie Surridge reported to the police last year that Philip Green had made many inappropriate behaviors at the Canyon Ranch luxury health resort in Tucson City, including ten times of hitting her hips during the class in January 2016. The coach said Philip Green made her feel like a prostitute.

As long as 56 pages of confession show, Katie Surridge also said that two women who were bent on the body building equipment and trained on treadmills were spanked by Philip Green.

One of the employees who asked Peter Hain to expose Philip Green claimed that Philip Green had repeatedly slapped female employees on the buttocks and caught their thighs and even their breasts. Although the victims were on the employment tribunal, they could not compete with the group's legal team and could only sign a confidentiality agreement.

In the United States, the Pima county prosecutor's office in Arizona has formally charged Philip Green with four minor offences belonging to the three class misdemeanor. Each charge is liable to a maximum penalty of 30 days' imprisonment and a fine of 500 dollars, with a maximum sentence of one year.

Philip Green, who was asked to take part in the hearing in June 19th, issued a statement "strongly denied" accusation through its retail group Arcadia Group Ltd.. It also stressed that prosecution did not involve any sexual assault or misconduct, which was inconsistent with previous media hints.

Philip Green will not attend the hearing in person.

This week, Philip Green, the declining retail Empire, will face life and death.

The creditors will vote on the rescue plan of Arcadia Group Ltd. close to 50 stores and slash the store rent in June 5th through the bankruptcy procedure of companyvoluntaryagreement (the company's voluntary agreement, hereinafter referred to as CVA).

If the plan fails to get the support of 75% creditors, Arcadia Group Ltd. with eight brands such as Topshop, DorothyPerkins, Miss Selfridge and 18 thousand employees will be highly bankrupt.

The group has 566 stores in the United Kingdom and Ireland. According to the initial CVA plan, 23 stores will be closed, 520 jobs will be lost, and the other 194 stores will seek to reduce the rent of 30%-70%.

A week later, Arcadia Group Ltd. announced that it had doubled the scope of the store and added 25 stores.

The US direct business has filed for bankruptcy under the fifteenth chapter of the bankruptcy law, and 11 independent stores will be closed.

Although the luxury store group Nordstrom Inc. (NYSE:JWN) in the Topshop/Topman shop and the brand's US website will continue to operate, the 67 year old Philip Green's one billion dollar retail business in the US has been shattered.

Arcadia Group Ltd. hopes to focus on digital business to revitalize its flagship brand Topshop.

The Daily Mail said that Topshop and Topman will be stationed in the retail platform of ASOSPLC (ASC.L), and will also invest more in online shopping services.
