Recently, China and the United Arab Emirates have officially signed the "People's Republic of China Customs General Administration" and the Federal Customs Agency of the United Arab Emirates on the mutual recognition of the Chinese Customs enterprise credit management system and the UAE customs "certified operator" (AEO) system, which will bring substantial benefits to Keqiao Enterprises.


According to statistics, there are 1013 certified enterprises in Shaoxing customs area, of which 25 are senior certification enterprises. Keqiao is a famous "international textile capital", while Dubai is a distributing market for textiles. The textile trade between Keqiao and the United Arab Emirates is frequent. Therefore, the landing of AEO mutual recognition between China and the UAE will bring substantial concessions to Keqiao's AEO enterprises, and encourage more enterprises that have trade with the UAE to get AEO qualification to enjoy convenience measures.


According to the Shaoxing customs staff, the signing of the mutual recognition arrangement between China and Arab Emirates means that Shaoxing's senior certifying enterprises export goods to the United Arab Emirates. When handling customs business, they can directly enjoy the convenience measures provided by the UAE customs, including low rate of document examination, low inspection rate, priority inspection, designated enterprise coordinators, limited disposal at special times, and so on, effectively reducing business costs such as port, insurance, logistics and so on.


"We have exported more than 25 million meters of special black cloth and printed cloth to the UAE every year. The signing of mutual recognition is a great benefit for us." Huang Xinming, deputy general manager of Zhejiang red and blue textile printing and dyeing Co., Ltd., said, "the decline in inspection rate and priority in customs clearance will save us a lot of cost and competitiveness."


In recent years, the Chinese customs is committed to actively promoting the AEO mutual recognition and consultation with the "important countries in the belt and road". It plans to complete the mutual recognition of all the established AEO systems along the "one belt and one road" and the mutual recognition of willing countries by 2020, so as to strive for more convenience for the vast number of import and export enterprises, and enhance the level of convenience of customs clearance at home and abroad.
