In 2019, China's home textile industry continued to focus on the international macro market environment, while deepening the implementation of the supply side structural reform and actively addressing uncertainties.

In the month of July, China's home textiles exports amounted to 2 billion 640 million US dollars, up by 10.6% over the same period last year.

In 1-7 months, household textiles in China totaled 15 billion 210 million US dollars, an increase of 1.4% over the same period last year. Among them, bedding, curtains, kitchen textiles have maintained growth, towel exports have dropped significantly.

Textiles on the bed are the main products of home textiles export, and exported 6 billion 650 million US dollars in 1-7 months, up 3.3% over the same period last year. Over the same period, the export of kitchen textiles, table fabrics and curtains increased rapidly, with an increase of around 10%. In addition, towels decreased significantly, falling by 13%, and carpet tapestries decreased by 4%.

The industry said that in the face of the changing international economic situation, the opportunities and challenges of China's home textiles exports will coexist in the future.
