Jordan Times reported that Jordan Al-Sanabel Co Nverting Industries Company, a joint venture with its German partners Kusters and Reifenhauser and Japan Hongda company, set up a non-woven factory in Jordan. The factory will produce 12000 metric tons of fabric annually to supply its garment production facilities with a total investment of about $28 million 250 thousand.

Mohammad Khattab, chairman of Sanabel, points out that the investment plan will meet the producer's demand for high quality fabrics and competitive prices and reduce the import of Jordanian fabrics. The joint venture between Jordan and Germany and Japan will help improve Jordanian product specifications, increase penetration in foreign markets, support Jordan's economic development and provide employment opportunities.

Khattab chairman continued to point out that the joint venture plan is one of the most important industrial cooperation projects in the Middle East, and its nonwoven products have been put into operation in the third quarter of this (2019) year.
