Members of the European Union revealed that EU members agreed in principle (2019) in October 23rd and postponed the date of expiry of the UK from the end of this month, but have not yet set a new deadline.

Chairman of the European Council Do Nald Tusk has recommended that EU leaders extend the deadline for the UK from the original (2019) October 31st to January 31st (January 31st).

However, some French dominated countries advocated only a very short delay in order to help Prime Minister Boris Johnson quickly push through the new version of the EU agreement in the house of Commons.

If EU countries fail to reach a consensus on this matter, the EU summit may be held on the 28 th of this month. However, the official said that countries hope to make written decisions this week, and ambassadors will meet again on the 25 th.
