Although industry profit growth is relatively low, the operation of enterprises is generally good. In the 1-9 month, the gross profit of Enterprises above the industrial scale increased by 7.70%, gross profit margin increased by 0.51 percentage points, the operating profit of the industry increased by 11.85% compared with the same period last year, and the operating profit margin increased by 0.44 percentage points compared with the same period last year. According to the field, the main business income of nonwoven fabrics increased by 6.44%, the gross profit of canvas and canvas increased by 9.03%. The profit rate of other industrial textiles used for filtering, geotextile and automobile textiles reached 7.01%, and maintained a high standard.

In terms of imports and exports, industrial exports of industrial textiles in the 1-9 months amounted to US $20 billion 411 million and imports of US $5 billion 23 million. Among the main products, 767 thousand and 800 tons of nonwoven fabrics were exported, valued at 2 billion 287 million US dollars, up 8.01% and 6.17% respectively, and the demand for nonwovens in the global market is still strong. The industrial textiles (fifty-ninth products of the customs commodity classification) exported 1 million 730 thousand and 100 tons, valued at 5 billion 911 million US dollars, down 3.59% and 2.33% respectively. In terms of exports to the United States, 1-9 months, China exported fifty-sixth dollars to the United States in the export of nonwovens, special yarns, lines, ropes, cables, cables and their products (fifty-sixth products of the customs commodity classification table), down 16.15% compared to the same period last year. The export industrial textiles (customs products comprehensive classification fifty-ninth chapter products) 342 million US dollars, down 30.18% over the same period last year. In the catalogue of tariffs added to the United States, the above two products account for only 10.62% and 5.78% of the total export volume of the two chapter products, so the impact of their decline on the overall export of the current industry is basically controllable.
