Over the past week, Xinjiang's seed cotton purchase market has seen "ups and downs", especially in late October, in the southern Kashi and Akesu, the machine picked cotton began to enter the market in large numbers, and again pulled up the two rise in the purchase price of machine picked cotton and hand picked cotton in North and South China.

As of November 6th, the purchase price of seed picking cotton in 40 parts of cotton growing area in the southern part of Xinjiang reached 5.60-5.80 yuan / kg, while the selling price of seed picking cotton rose to 6.20-6.30 yuan / kg in Bachu, Sha ya, Kuche and other places. The purchase price of hand picked cotton was once adjusted to 6.10 yuan / kg in late October. The purchase price of 38-39% seed harvester in 38-39%, Kuitun and Changji in Northern Xinjiang was raised to 5.30-5.40 yuan / kg. It is obvious that the "limelight" of Xinjiang's seed cotton purchase in 2019/20 was seized by the machine picked cotton and hand picked cotton in the southern Xinjiang.

Why is this year's leader in the acquisition of market for machine picked cotton in southern Xinjiang? 一些貿(mào)易商、軋花廠分析認為：一是2019/20年度南疆機采棉區(qū)天氣比較給力，籽棉顏色級、品質(zhì)指標較上年度大幅提升，而北疆幾大產(chǎn)棉區(qū)則正好相反，不僅單產(chǎn)下滑，而且公檢指標不太理想；二是2017年以來南疆機采棉種植面積持續(xù)大幅增長，庫爾勒、喀什大部分棉區(qū)機采棉占比超過50%，籽棉收購期間手采棉、機采棉相互重疊、相互競爭（很多軋花廠“通收”），比北疆收購“看點多，熱鬧多，激烈多”；三是相較北疆棉企，南疆軋花廠采用發(fā)行、信用社及其它商業(yè)銀行貸款收購占比高，資金充足，“錢等棉”的現(xiàn)象比較普遍，因此競相提價搶收高品質(zhì)籽棉是每年的“必修課”；四是截止目前疆內(nèi)2019/20年度“紡棉”詢價、成交起色不大，軋花廠、貿(mào)易商高品級、高指標、高升水的機采棉都以套保避險為主；而9/10月份南疆絮棉（馬值5.0以上）成交比較活躍，自然成 "Weathervane" for the acquisition of cotton spot and seed cotton.
