In November 12, 2019, the US Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) and the Canadian Ministry of Health announced the recall of Chinese Hoodie.

The recall product is Hooey brand 15 children Hoodie. The Hoodie is made of polyester and cotton, with a drawstring and a "Hooey" on the hat. The size is divided into XS, S, M, L and XL. The white label on the back neckline is printed with "Hooey" and "MadeinChina". The label on the side is printed with clothing nursing instructions.

The rope on the hat can be wound or stuck on slides, handrails, doors, etc., which may cause suffocation to children.

The product was sold in the US and Canada in October September 2017. The recall involved about 6600 products sold in the United States and about 520 pieces in Canada, priced at about 45 US dollars. -2019

Up to now, no accidents or casualties have been reported.

CPSC and Canada's Ministry of health suggest that rope should be removed from clothing immediately to eliminate hidden dangers.
