As of November 11th, Pakistan cotton farmers have sold 1 million 36 thousand tons of new cotton, a decrease of 21% over the same period last year. The market expects Pakistan's cotton output to drop to 1 million 530 thousand tons this year, the lowest cotton production in 33 years, so the country's cotton imports are expected to hit a record high of 780 thousand tons.

Recently, Pakistan imported large quantities of cotton from the United States, Brazil, Tanzania, Uganda, Greece and Sultan. Cotton textile factories were forced to import cotton before. Currently, the consumption of cotton in Pakistan is stable and the demand for clothing exports is stable. In September, the export volume of textiles and clothing reached 1 billion 68 million US dollars, up 4.8% over the same period last year.
