Lyst

Recently, the global fashion search platform Lyst announced the 2019 fourth quarter global popular brand index and the quarter's top brand list. The list includes not only the ranking changes in the fourth and third quarters, but also a brief description of the brand's hot events and popular products, to a certain extent, reflecting the preferences of shoppers.

From the list, we can see that the fourth quarter Off-White Gamma Still firmly occupy the top position, GUCCI and BALENCIAGA in two or three place, the same as Kai Yun group's brand, the two ranking compared with the third quarter only changed the position. Moncler brands jumped from 14 to fourth, while PRADA and VALENTINO declined slightly. In addition, Nike, YEEZY and other sports products based brands are also in the top twenty list.

Lyst pointed out that sustainability in the fourth quarter was the key word for many popular brands. Prada held a conference on "shaping the future of sustainable development" in New York; Gucci CEO launched a carbon neutral challenge; Burberry announced a partnership with resale website TheRealReal. These initiatives are different from the traditional "buy, buy, buy" mentality, and the fashion industry gradually realizes the importance of sustainable ideas. Lyst's 2019 fashion report also showed that consumers' search volume related to sustainable fashion increased by 75% compared with the same period last year, and consumer attitudes gradually tended to be environmentally sustainable. With the joint efforts of both sides, the fashion industry will probably change.
