USDA Outlook Forum: In 2020, The US Cotton Planting Area Decreased By 9% Compared To The Same Period Last Year.
The United States Department of agriculture's Agricultural Outlook Forum, held in February 21st, estimated that in February 21st, the US cotton planting area was 12 million 500 thousand acres, a decrease of 9% over the same period last year. Previously, NCC's forecast was 13 million acres, down 5.5% from a year ago.
