Textile Exports Rose Sharply, Garment Exports Dropped Sharply (April)
According to the latest data from the General Administration of customs, in 2020 04, China exported about 21 billion 361 million US dollars in textile and clothing, an increase of 9.77% over the same period last year, an increase of 38.43% in the ring.
Exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were 14 billion 621 million US dollars, an increase of 49.36% over the same period last year, an increase of 63.87% in the ring ratio, and an export garment and accessories accessories of US $6 billion 740 million, a decrease of 30.31% over the same period last year, and an increase of 3.56% over the ring.
In the 1-4 month of 2020, China exported 37 billion 312 million US dollars of textile products, an increase of 2.9% compared with the same period last year. The total export clothing was 29 billion 309 million US dollars, down 22.3% from the same period last year.
In 2020 1-4, textile and garment exports totaled 66 billion 620 million US dollars, down 12% from the same period last year.
