Nike's main rival Adidas (Adidas) also pushed the video and said: "unity is the way forward, unity is the way to make changes."

Four days before Nike released the video, a 46 year old African American George Floyd was killed in police custody in Minnesota when she was treated with violence. The whole process was recorded by mobile phone video. The police involved in the case were arrested last Friday and charged with three degree murder, but still caused mass demonstrations and riots in the United States.
