Actis, a well-known Private Equity Investment Firm focusing on emerging markets, has announced that its leading investor alliance has injected $103 million into amber education group.

The alliance of investors is made up of three companies, of which Actis is the first time to invest in amber, accounting for nearly 50%. The Avenue Capital and Macquarie Group have increased their investments in amber.

This is the third round of investment by Amber education group and the largest single private placement in China's education sector so far.
