Qiu Jibao came to Luohu port in Shenzhen, and spent 500 yuan on behalf of an old lady in Hongkong to buy a yellow page book in Hongkong.

Through the telephone directory, he launched a letter "diplomacy" with the Hongkong international distributor, and learned that the "leap" product may have a market in some underdeveloped countries in central and South America.

He was carrying a sewing machine on his back and carrying a plator borrowed from the provincial office to set foot on the road of sales to Latin America and other countries.

By 1989, sales of "leap" in these areas reached US $20 thousand.

In 1994, when the economic crisis happened in Mexico, Qiu Jibao turned to an article in Southeast Asia and the Middle East international market.

By the end of 1996, Southeast Asian financial crisis broke out, and the "Southeast Asian market network" that had just been woven by "leap" was hit hard again.

Qiu Jibao sees this as a rare opportunity to introduce high technology and large-scale implementation of technological pformation.

He boldly bought a small factory in Japan and hired sewing machine experts and scientific research personnel from Germany, Italy, Japan and other countries to develop high-tech products. At the same time, he borrowed money to make technical changes, and imported advanced processing equipment from the United States, South Korea and Taiwan.

After numerous failures, leaps and bounds finally created about 600000 myriads of sewing machines, 65 million dollars in annual export earnings and 46 million 240 thousand yuan in taxes.

In 1999, the "leap" mechatronics household sewing machine exported to Japan in large quantities and entered the Japanese family, rewriting the history of our long-term import sewing machine from Japan.
