"There are too many people every day and a lot of facilities are seriously worn out", Liu Chunming, deputy director of the Three Gorges Museum, said that the first exhibition hall, the Magnificent Three Gorges exhibition hall, was overburdened. The glass floor had been arched, and some screws were loose or even shedding, and there was danger of collapse at any time.

To this end, the Three Gorges Museum yesterday invited professional companies to remove glass floors one by one, then screw them up, and then restore them.

"Every day after the closure, the cleaning staff can only clean for half an hour, because when the time comes, the security guards must evacuate, and the museum should carry out safety guard."

Liu Chunming said that before the opening of the museum every day, the crystal surface protection (through special treatment to ensure the floor brightness) was also suspended due to too many tourists, which could only be closed on Monday.

For this reason, he hoped that when the citizens visited, they should not wear shoes with nails and hard objects, do not litter, and try not to eat, drink milk, ice cream, sugar drinks, etc.

Three Gorges Museum staff also bought plastic table corner protective pieces, stuck on the corner of the glass display cabinet to prevent children from bumping while crowding.

To their regret, the more than 40 pieces of protective clothing that were pre loaded with free access were mostly lost by the curious citizens two days before free opening.

Yesterday, the staff installed more than 300 protective devices.
