Xiajin Textile Quality Assured County
In April 22nd, the China Consumer Protection Foundation counterfeiting Committee held a ceremony in Xiajin county to award the title of "China's textile quality assured county".
Xiajin is a national standard production base for high quality cotton. At present, there are 140 textile enterprises, 2 million textile spindles, 375 thousand tons of yarn, 90 million pieces of cloth and 30 million sets of garments.
In recent years, the county has made great efforts to improve the quality of textile products and raise the level of equipment.
54 cotton textile enterprises in the county have set up scientific research centers, and more than 20 enterprises have established cooperative relationship with universities.
The county has invested more than 50 million yuan in research and development in recent years, and has developed more than 40 new textile products in succession, pushing the quality and efficiency to improve at the same time.
