Scientists In Brazil Have Developed Fabrics That Are Resistant To Common Pathogens.

According to the Brazil St Paul daily, Brazil scientists have recently developed a fabric that can effectively resist a common pathogen, which can be used to produce medical workers' work clothes.

Osvaldo Alves, a professor of chemistry at Brazil's University of pennus state, explained that the research team added silver nitrate to the microorganism culture fluid containing Fusarium oxysporum and obtained silver nanoparticles.

Experiments showed that cotton cloth soaked with this silver nanoparticle solution could resist Staphylococcus aureus.

Researchers have long known that silver can be antibacterial, but most previous studies have been using pure chemical methods to obtain silver nanoparticles, the report said.

Brazil scientists are now adopting a completely new technology, and now they have submitted a patent application for this technology.
