The Ninth China Textile and clothing trade exhibition (New York) opened ceremoniously in June 18th at the New York Convention and Exhibition Center.

The exhibition is sponsored by the China Textile Industry Association, the China International Trade Promotion Committee, the textile industry branch, the American professional trade exhibition company and the American Sofi group company.

At the opening ceremony, vice president Wang Tiankai first delivered a warm speech. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the distinguished guests who attended the exhibition.

He said that China's textile industry was committed to upgrading the industry and changing its growth pattern during the "11th Five-Year" period.

We should accelerate the construction of an innovative, resource-saving and environment-friendly modern people's livelihood industry.

It is necessary to speed up the pformation of traditional industries and increase R & D investment with new technologies, so as to enhance the contribution rate of science and technology to textile economic growth, and gradually foster the independent brand through the creativity of the textile industry in the field of human value, thereby enhancing the contribution rate of brand to the economic growth of textile industry.

In view of the important position and role of cooperation and trade in the economic partnership between China and the United States, the Chinese textile industry sincerely hopes to enhance communication, enhance understanding and expand cooperation with the US industry and business circles, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win cooperation in a fair, orderly and stable free trade environment.

Ms. Jackson, general manager of the international business and sister city project Department of New York mayor's office, also read the congratulatory letter from New York Mayor Bloomberg.

Bloomberg welcomed the arrival of the distinguished guests in China. He said that New York is a melting pot with more than 200 languages. The more than 80 Chinese exhibitors of the exhibition will bring Chinese art and commercial value to the trade between China and the United States, and will stimulate the spirit of New Yorkers and increase the economic vitality of New York.

Under the meticulous operation of the host and undertakings, China's textile and clothing trade exhibition (New York) has gone through 8 years of development under the great care and support of the Chinese diplomatic mission to the United States and the New York municipal government of the United States.

China's excellent textile and clothing brands, excellent quality and high price, complete textile and apparel products, outstanding business atmosphere and stable on-site customer resources make the exhibition the first professional exhibition for Chinese enterprises to enter the US market, and many high-end customers in the United States and surrounding areas to purchase textile and clothing.
