According to the relevant person in charge of Jinjiang industry and Commerce Bureau, Jinjiang industrial and Commercial Bureau found in law enforcement inspection that individual enterprises had the phenomenon of splitting the Olympic logo, mainly on shoes and clothing, for example, the "Chinese seal" was printed on the back of the shoe, the "Beijing 2008" was printed on the left and right sides, or the "Beijing 2008" was printed on the front of the garment, and the "Chinese seal" was printed on the shoulder badge.
Zhuang Huaibin, director of the fair protection section of the Jinjiang industrial and commercial bureau, reminded enterprises to pay attention to the official website, product publicity, product packaging and appearance. Do not infringe on the exclusive rights of the Olympic logo and the intellectual property rights of the Beijing Olympic Committee.
According to the regulations on the protection of Olympic logo and relevant laws and regulations, any organization or individual shall obtain the permission of the Olympic logo holder for the purpose of using any Olympic logo for commercial purposes.
In any case, the Olympic symbols should not be split, distorted, altered or used for deformation purposes, nor should they be used as part of other signs and patterns.
It is understood that the business sector has the right to confiscate and destroy infringing goods and manufacturing tools, confiscate illegal gains, and impose a fine of less than 5 times the illegal income. No illegal gains can be imposed and a fine of less than 50 thousand yuan can be imposed.
