Dubai Accelerates The Development Of Textile Industry In The Middle East
Market research shows that the global textile industry will grow by 100% from 2002 to 2010, from $353 billion to $655 billion.
Similarly, the textile market in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) is growing by about 8% a year, mainly due to the investment from developed countries in the region, which has led to the growth of the textile industry.
The textile industry in the Middle East has increased substantially. It is fair to say that Dubai has accelerated the development of the textile industry in the Middle East.
Dubai is now the largest importer in Europe and Asia, and the most important entrepot in the Gulf region.
In 2007, Dubai imported more than 250 million US dollars of textile products from Britain, Spain and Italy.
