According to the Circular of the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation on adjusting the export tax rebates for some textiles and garments, the export rebate rate of textiles and garments exported from 11% increased to 13% after August 1, 2008. The export tax rebate rate of some bamboo products increased from 5% to 11%, and the tax rebate rate of some pesticides, coatings and rosin was abolished.

This tax rebate rate adjustment, our city will have 115 enterprises to benefit.

According to the data retrieved by the tax bureau of the Municipal Taxation Bureau, it was learned that in the adjustment of the tax rebate rate, the export commodities in our city did not involve the types of commodities cancelled by the tax rebate rate.

A total of 115 enterprises in our city export textile products such as clothing with high tax rebate rate. In 2007, the export volume of this kind of commodities was 94 million 370 thousand US dollars, of which 97 were production enterprises, involving an export volume of 87 million 220 thousand US dollars; 18 foreign trade enterprises, involving an export volume of 7 million 150 thousand yuan.

In the first half of 2008, the export volume of such commodities in our city was 44 million 450 thousand US dollars, of which 90 were production enterprises, involving 4257 US dollars in exports and 15 in foreign trade enterprises, involving an export volume of 1 million 880 thousand yuan.

The tax rebate rate of our export enterprises has increased by 2 percentage points. It is estimated that the export tax rebate will be increased by 7 million 670 thousand yuan in the second half of this year, of which the export tax rebate will increase by 7 million 390 thousand yuan, and foreign trade enterprises will increase the export tax rebate by 280 thousand yuan.

In addition, the export tax rebate rate of some export enterprises in China is related to the export tax rebate rate adjustment. In 2007, the export volume of such bamboo products was 107 thousand and 800 US dollars, and the export volume in the first half of 2008 was nearly US $20 thousand.
