Jiangxi Shut Down 26 Heavily Polluting Enterprises
In order to further enhance environmental control efforts, the Jiangxi Environmental Protection Bureau recently eliminated or shut down 26 enterprises or backward production lines whose effluent was over standard or could not meet the target discharge standards.
The exposure of the 26 polluting enterprises or backward production lines including Shangyou County Gan Fu Paper Co., Ltd., Ruijin Chenming Industrial Co., Ltd., Haiyang Textile Group Co., Ltd. produces an annual output of 40 thousand meters denim production line. Jiangxi provincial Environmental Protection Bureau requires that the enterprises or production lines that need to be closed down must be implemented by the end of August this year.
