In LAN network, shared access between computers is almost inevitable. For such a shared access event, many friends will simply think it is not worth mentioning. However, with the Windows Server 2008 server installed in the LAN network, the shared resources in the Windows Server 2008 server system will become more frequent. However, due to the great changes between the Windows Server 2008 system and the traditional server, many operations are different from the previous ones when accessing the shared resources in the new system. In order for ordinary users to access the shared resources in the Windows Server 2008 server safely, this article makes a few contribution techniques to share the client computer and Windows Server 2008 server safely.

Quick sharing settings

In order to speed up the shared resources in the client computer access server, Windows Server 2008 has launched a public folder specially. All the contents of the files placed under the folder can be quickly released to the LAN network. We do not need to share the contents of the target files. Users in the LAN can access the contents of the files through the network neighbor window. However, in order for the client computer to successfully access the shared contents in the Windows Server 2008 system public folder, we must also perform the following setup operations:

First of all, we must set up the Internet parameters of the Windows Server 2008 server system correctly, and ensure that the IP address of the server host is located in the same subnet with the IP addresses of other client computers. Do not think such an operation is too simple, because the Windows Server 2008 system under the Internet settings operation is obviously different from before: we can first log in to the Windows Server 2008 server system with the access privileges of the system super administrator, click the "network" icon on the system desktop with the mouse right click, and execute the "attribute" command in the right-click menu, then enter the corresponding system network and shared Center Management window, click the "management network connection" option in the left list area of the window, then right-click the target local connection icon in the subsequent interface, click the "property" command from the corresponding shortcut menu, and open the property window of the target local connection. Then, in the "network" tab page, click the "Internet Protocol Version4" option, then click the "properties" button to open the IP address setup dialog box as shown in Figure 1. In this dialog box, we can set up the appropriate IP address for the server system according to the unified planning of the LAN, and ensure that the Windows Server 2008 server host is in the same subnet with the other client computers in the LAN.
