Pakistan'S Textile Industry Is Facing An Energy Crisis
On Tuesday, the energy crisis conference held by the Ministry of textiles and stakeholders believes that the textile industry will face widespread energy shortages in the next two weeks. Unless Canas started operation in January 17th, the factory will resume production in January 22nd.
This proves that more informal meetings have not resulted, and the two sides have left the conference table without reaching any results. Interestingly, stakeholders in the textile industry are also in the same state before and after the meeting.
The textile Ministry of Pakistan admitted that textile leaders were not very satisfied. Textile sector leaders have expressed disappointment at the hope of relying on the government to solve the energy crisis in the future. In addition, the limited advantage of the conference is that the proposal to supply 200 million cubic feet per day to the textile department of Faye Sana Bud and Raschel has been submitted to the Economic Coordination Committee for approval.
Textile ministers, federal textile consultants, federal textile and power secretaries, leaders from Syu northern natural gas company, Pakistan electric power company, and textile industry stakeholders from Raschel, Karachi, Gu Jelan Vala, Fei, and other parts of the textile industry attended the meeting. It is worth mentioning that the federal textile minister and the federal textile consultant support the industrial view while others insist on strict regulations.
